Hello and welcome,

I'm Aisha — originally from South Tyrol, Italy, a region nestled in the Alps where Austrian and Italian cultures meet. Growing up between a German-speaking Italian mother and a Pulaar-speaking Senegalese father, I was surrounded by different languages, traditions, and ways of seeing the world from an early age.

My path has never been a straight one. Before moving to South Korea, I was pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics in Austria while working in economic research. At the same time, I had a deep passion for Locking dance, a style that eventually led me halfway across the world to Seoul.

What was meant to be a short adventure quickly became something much bigger. I came to Korea expecting to stay for a few months, then perhaps a year. Instead, I found friendships, creative opportunities, and eventually the person who would become my husband.

Today, Korea is home. Together with my husband and our two children, I've built a life that looks very different from the one I once imagined—and one that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Over the years, my interests have evolved. While creativity first entered my life through dance and modeling, it eventually found its way into the quieter parts of everyday life: baking sourdough bread, designing crochet patterns, cooking for my family, gardening, and creating a home filled with simple rituals and handmade things.

This website is a reflection of that journey. It's a place where I share the projects, recipes, patterns, and ideas that have become part of our daily life. Some are inspired by my roots in Europe, others by the years I've spent in Korea, and many by the small moments that make a house feel like home.
